Outside of my day job, I freelance web design, coding in PHP. Short resume: Desktop, portable, server, and network systems maintenance for business and residential customers. Experience with a variety of Linux distributions, NetWare, most releases of MS-Windows, MS-DOS, and some FreeBSD and Mac OS 9 and X experience. Custom-built PCs and design custom network solutions for businesses. Hardware and software troubleshooting for home PCs. I do voice-over work and audio production for radio, television, and industrial applications, including jingle/music bed composition, scripting, and talent direction.
Playing the piano, photography, and skiing are my favorite pasttimes. Skiing rules. I prefer alpine, though I like all winter activities.
MCMM does not currently have any particular meaning. I suppose it could mean Michael Chan Multi-Media, a name that would apply well to the stuff at which I hack, but I always thought that phrase reads as if one had marbles in one’s mouth. In the GNU recursive spirit I spose it could mean MCMM Causes Motion Malaise. Motor Cycle Mad Man, Monkey Child Makes Mudpie, Morbid Charlie Murdered Myrna, Milk Carton’s Missing Moppet, or whatever you want.
